If you ask ten different people what they think the best use for pepper spray

and you will more than likely get ten different answers. I believe the best
and
most basic use for pepper spray is as a "get away spray."
Pepper Spray when used correctly can provide you with what may be your only
opportunity to get away from an attacker. It is said that any street fight is

lost in the first thirty seconds, a sneak attack gives you less than half of
that time.
While there are many personal defense devices available, most are either illegal

require some degree of formal training to be utilized to their full potential

criminal.
Pepper spray on the other hand is legal in most states, can be used effectively
with
a minimal amount of reading, and leaves an attacker temporarily impaired, and
ready
for arrest by law enforcement personnel. The faster and more effectively your
attacker
is impaired the faster you can get yourself to safety. This can also afford
you the
precious few seconds to scream for assistance, just remember to scream "fire"
instead
of "help", this is reputed to bring more people to the area
quicker.
